The aim of the programme is to promote the logistics infrastructures of Alava, positioning it as a top-level logistics enclave for international and national companies related to the sector, pursuing the future investment and establishment of these companies in Alava (INA-Invest in Alava).

VIAL also seeks to:

• Establish a forum of record for business cooperation in the sector.
• Generate key knowledge for strategic decision-making to improve the competitiveness of the logistics offerings in Alava.
• Integrate the different logistics platforms in the VIAL strategy.
• Approach the logistics companies of the territory and learn their reality when operating in Álava, with their strengths and needs for improvement.

What does it consist of?

• Development of promotional material on Álava and its potential as a logistics hub.
• Identify and contact national and international companies who may have an interest in establishing themselves in Álava to carry out their logistics activities.
• Contact the companies that carry out logistics activity in Álava to support those in which it is possible to know first-hand the status of the sector in the territory (trends, needs, problems...)
• Attend the major national and international trade shows and meetings in the logistics sector to reveal the territory as a logistics hub and contact key figures of large companies in the sector.
• Organize the TRANSMODAL Forum in conjunction with the Port of Bilbao. TRANSMODAL is a logistics-focused seminar that has now been celebrated continuously for 16 years

The beneficiary of the programme is the territory of Alava, as VIAL will make known and promote the logistics potential offered by the province to a wide range of national and international companies, helping the territory's agents to go even further, with the ultimate aim of achieving greater logistics activity in Alava and increasing its business community.
